Catholic Memorial Students Lauded for Leadership Skills
Parkway area students honored at fifth annual Student Leadership Dinner.

The Catholic Memorial School honored several Parkway area students at its fifth annual Student Leadership Dinner held at CM on the evening of September 2.
They included seniors Fabrice Rateau, Ethan Madden, Connor Keehnle, Mike Carroll, Patrick O'Mara, Yiheng Qin, and Ryan Dumont as well as junior Kevin Donnelly.
The dinner, hosted by members of the faculty and administration, has become a good way to recognize student leaders at the beginning of the year, according to Director of Activities Patrick Murray.

"Being a leader comes with its share of responsibility," Murray told the 50 elected representatives, sports captains and activity leaders. "It is up to you, to a large extent, to set the tone of school spirit for your classmates all year long."
President Paul Sheff and Principal Richard Chisholm also recognized the group for its accomplishments of the past year and encouraged them to continue to strive for success.

"Leadership requires that you have the ability to speak up for the good of the community," Chisholm told them. "As leaders, you are to be a model of respect to all those you come in contact with."
