The CM basketball team made another trip to UMass/Boston this week to take on North Quincy for the Division 1/South Title championship and celebrated a 65-58 win on Saturday night, March 8. Trailing by one at the half and North Quincy leading 25-24, the Knights put it together in the third and fourth despite valiant efforts by North Quincy to retake the lead. Next on the agenda is a state semi-final game on Monday, March 10 at TD Banknorth Garden at 7:30 p.m. against Central Catholic. If victorious, its off to the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, March 16 for the Division 1 state title.
