CM Quartet to Take Part in College Signing Day

Williams to attend Ohio State, Reeves still undecided, Doyle headed to UMass, and Henry is headed to BC.

 

Next Wednesday, a quartet of football stand-outs will participate in a signing day, according to CM Director of Communications Joseph McGonegal.

Both players were verbally committed to Penn State before allegations of sexual abuse arose involving former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. The scandal led to the firing of head coach Joe Paterno, who passed away over the weekend.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Reeves could be eyeing Michigan, but Penn State is still an option. He is also considering joining his teammate as a Buckeye. Reeves reportedly visited Michigan on Jan. 14 and Ohio State Jan. 19.

“We’ll make the best decision that’s best for us individually,” he told the Detroit Free Press.“Whether that’s us staying at Penn State, or going to Ohio State, or me just going to Michigan just doing my own thing. Any choice would be great because they’re all great schools, and they’ll fit us perfectly in different ways.”

The signing day will also include A.J. Doyle of Lakeville, who will attend the University of Massachusetts and Donovan Henry of Sharon, who will attend Boston College.
