CM Speech Team Presents Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory

's speech and debate team invites all to attend its 12th annual Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory on Sunday, April 1 from 2-5 p.m. 

Catholic Memorial's speech and debate team is one of the most accomplished programs in the state, and at this annual event which is open to the public, students showcase their award-winning speeches, dramatic one-act plays and comedic group performances.

The schedule of performances, which run throughout the afternoon in 1/2-hour sessions, includes a former national champion and several state champions as well as this year's top contenders for national recognition.

This year's event, which takes place in the Catholic Memorial's high school building, will also feature a silent auction, raffle and door prizes. Tickets ($20 each) can be purchased at the door. For more information, contact the team's coach, Rob Croteau, at 617-469-8000 x5008.
