CM's Madden and Woodall Reach Semis at St. Joseph's University Forensics Tourney

's speech and debate team traveled to Philadelphia on November 20 to compete in the annual Villiger Speech and Debate Tournament at St. Joseph's University.  

At that tournament, senior Ethan Madden of Roslindale and junior Mark Woodall of West Roxbury broke into the semifinals in the category of Duo Interpretation.

Overall, the team finished in 9th out of 70 teams competing.  "This event strengthened our team's already strong talents in several categories," said head coach Rob Croteau.  "It also shows us that we can continue to compete against great programs from other states."
