The Roslindale Village Main Street’s 17th annual free Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. The much-loved tradition always draws hundreds of families to this hunt for 5,000 treat-filled eggs hidden throughout Adams Park. The Easter Bunny will make his appearance.
Mayor Menino cuts the ribbon to kick off the hunt at 10 a.m. sharp and starts a morning of fun and celebration.
Children ages 2 to 6 may attend the hunt and should bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. Older kids and families can join the parent/child egg toss and bunny hop races, with special prizes for the winning teams. Kids face painting & crafts, free refreshments and a raffle to win a Roslindale gift basket fill out this community tradition. Event is free and open to all.
