An illustrated historical account of West Roxbury by Boston historian Anthony Sammarco is the first of several free public events scheduled this year at Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury in celebration of its 300 anniversary.
Mr. Sammarco, author of 60 pictorial histories of Boston and its neighborhoods, will give his presentation at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, in the church sanctuary. The lecture will be followed by refreshments in the adjacent parish hall.
