Foster Care Information Session

Do you have what it takes to become a foster parent? The Home for Little Wanderers, the nation’s oldest child welfare agency and one of the largest in New England, is actively seeking individuals to become part of our team and make a lasting impact on a child’s life. Boston-area residents and individuals who are considering becoming a foster parent are invited to attend a series of free information meetings at The Home for Little Wanderers, 780 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA.

The series will explore why children get placed in Intensive Foster Care, the process of becoming a professional foster parent, the support The Home will provide foster parents and what providing a safe haven for children in foster care involves. A question and answer period will be offered. Complimentary refreshments will be served. Space is limited and registration is required. To register and learn about the criteria to become a foster parent, visit www.thehome.org/fostercare or contact Recruitment Coordinator Lina Fox at 617-264-5323 or lfox@thehome.org.
