
The Center for Asian Martial Arts will be conducting
a fundraiser to benefit United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). Each day, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of five traditional Asian martial arts. Martial art training benefits all aspects of one’s health, both internally and externally, as well as incorporates practical self-defense techniques to protect yourself and loved ones. There is a suggested donation of $30 to attend an unlimited amount of classes during the week and 100% of the donations collected will go towards the UCP Foundation. All are welcome and encouraged to attend (ages 16 and up)!
The schedule of UCP events are as follows:
- Sunday (4/29) at 12pm – Hapkido Grab Techniques
- Monday (4/30) at 1pm & 7pm – Kong Su Do Hand
Attacks - Tuesday (5/1) at 7pm – Kung Fu Dragon Form
- Wednesday (5/2) at 1pm & 7pm – Kong Su Do Lower
Body Forms & Kicking - Thursday (5/3) at 1pm & 7pm – Yudo (Korean Judo &
Falling Techniques) - Friday (5/4) at 1pm & 7pm – Blocking & Punch
Defense Techniques - Saturday (5/5) at 12pm – Tai Chi
