One Killed in Crash on Enneking Parkway in West Roxbury
Police said a pickup truck veered off the road and hit a tree; the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
WEST ROXBURY, MA – A Dedham man was killed Tuesday evening when the pickup truck he was driving veered off of Enneking Parkway and hit a tree.
Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the roadway at 5:39 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the truck, a 2000 Chevrolet, at the entrance to Stony Brook Reservation in West Roxbury.
The driver of the truck, a 44-year-old Dedham man, was pronounced dead at the scene; the passenger sustained serious injuries and was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, according to state police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police have not identified the occupants of the truck, pending notification of their family members.
