Former 'This Old House' Host Coming to West Roxbury

Habitat for Humanity ReStore in West Roxbury is about to celebrate its third anniversary, and as part of the celebration will welcome Steve Thomas to meet customers next weekend. 

Thomas, formerly the host of PBS's "This Old House," will be at the store from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the ReStore location at 1580 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury. 

Customers are invited to meet Thomas and ask any home improvement, do-it-yourself or repair-related questions. 

The store is also holding a special 20-percent off sale on May 31. Customers can receive 20 percent off their entire purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Boston. 

Moreover, ReStore is allowing customers to enter to win a 5-by-7 foot storage shed by purchasing $10 tickets. The drawing will be held at the event on May 31.
