Four Catholic Memorials Knights Headed to D-I Football Programs

Big time football awaits A.J. Doyle, Donovan Henry, Armani Reeves and Camren Williams.

A quartet of football stars haven't finished their illustrious high school careers yet as they much more to prove this fall. But come the fall of 2012, several Knights will be headed to big time football destinations.

A.J. Doyle, Donovan Henry, Armani Reeves and Camren Williams, have all shown their football skills at Baker Street, and will continue the line of former Knights playing for top football programs nationwide.

Linebacker Cam Williams committed to play for Coach Joe Paterno and Penn State University this spring.

Quarterback A.J. Doyle committed to play for NC State in late June. On July 12, defensive back Donovan Henry committed to play for the hometown Boston College Golden Eagles.

There is one big name on the Knights' fall roster to commit with defensive back Armani Reeves, who has said that his top choices are Penn State and Notre Dame.

"We are proud of these four top student-athletes, who have distinguished themselves and earned the attention of some of the best football programs in the country," said Head Coach Alexa Campea.  Campea added that it's likely that other players will be considering top programs as the season progresses, not just the four players known for exciting plays.

In football alone in the last five years, 20 CM athletes have continued to play football at the collegiate level.
