Jason Roberts Challenger League - 12th Annual Golf Tournament, Saturday, October 11th at 1:00 p.m.

The Jason Roberts Challenger League has a fundamental goal of giving everyone a chance to play, regardless of limitations. Participants not only learn the fundamentals of baseball, but also how it feels to be just like other children – pulling together as a team, being cheered for, and earning awards for their achievements. A special group of children, who shun the description “special,” now enjoy the benefits that organized baseball has to offer – a structured athletic activity for each child, developing the disciplines of teamwork, citizenship, and fair play.

The Jason Roberts Challenger League invites golfers to participate in its 12th Annual Golf Tournament

Foursomes are now being accepted for the Saturday, October 11th tournament fundraiser to be held at the George Wright Golf Course, 420 West Street in Hyde Park. The $125 entry fee per golfer (or $500 per foursome) includes greens fees, cart, food and prizes. In addition to raffle prizes, awards will also be given to the winning golf team, longest drive and closest to the pin. Dinner to follow at the clubhouse.

The Jason Roberts Challenger League also seeks golf tournament sponsors and or raffle prizes.

The Jason Roberts Challenger League will be holding its 12th annual golf tournament on Saturday, October 11th at the George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park. The league is currently seeking raffle prize donations as well as $100 hole sponsorship’s.
