Description: José and Franziska will perform “Romanze,” a musical program reflecting the passionate intensity and revolutionary spirit of Beethoven, and its echoes in Spanish and Latin-American composers. Works include those by Paganini, Pujol, Cortes, Beethoven, Albeniz and Lezcano himself.
ARTIST BIOS: José is a twice Grammy-nominated guitarist and composer who has performed on four continents, and serves as Professor of Music at Keene State College. He most recently premiered his second Guitar concerto “Cubanero” with North-South Consonance in New York City. http://joselezcano.wordpress.com/
Franziska is an international concert harpist praised as “a virtuoso in the harp” (Berliner Abendblatt). On the faculty of New England Conservatory, Longy, and Tanglewood, Ms. Huhn is also performs regularly in Greater Boston – substitute harpist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and on regular rosters with Mistral Chamber Players, Walden Chamber Players, Radius Ensemble and Collage New Music. http://www.franziskahuhn.de/

IMPRESARIA PRESENTS! is the performing arm of IMPRESARIA PRODUCTIONS, founded by eliSabeth Taylor in 1998 as “The Wren Street Soirees” in her home. It has expanded to Salons and Soirees of classical musicians, singer-songwriters and storytellers in local venues in the Greater Boston area.
