A LETTER TO OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO STOP THE PIPELINE

Hello Senator Lynch:

I am a resident of West Roxbury, MA I am fearful for my safety. I write to you to request that you take action stop the West Roxbury Lateral Pipeline.

The proposed route of the WRL pipeline and the site for its regulating station are adjacent to the active West Roxbury Crushed Stone Quarry.

According to the information provided within the Environmental Impact Statement that Spectra Energy submitted to FERC, Spectra has established no data to support that the WRL pipeline can withstand more than JUST ONE blast by the quarry.

U.S. Homeland Security/TSA considers the configuration of pipeline and regulation station located as planned within a densely-populated neighborhood to be a “high value terrorist target”.

Should an intentional or unintentional intrusion of the WRL pipeline/regulating station occur, the initial blast radius would create a loss of life of 1500 residents MINIMUM-9/11 scale devastation.

Please do something to prevent this potential disaster.
