At impressive ceremonies on the campus of Boston College, Marty Walsh was sworn in as the 54th mayor of Boston. Prior to delivering his inaugural address, he performed his first official duty; swearing in the city council for a new two year term. Among 4 new councilors are District 5 Tim McCarthy, succeeding Rob Consalvo.
