Neighborhood Arts Community Concert with Boston Public Quartet

Join us at Roxbury’s Hibernian Hall for a free Neighborhood Arts concert on Saturday, March 12. This one-hour, family-friendly event features the Boston Public Quartet, who will play engaging musical excerpts by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Shostakovich. The Boston City Singers Cantare Chorus will also take the stage to sing folksongs and conclude with Karl Jenkins’ “Adiemus.” A reception will be held afterwards.

Admission is FREE, but we strongly suggest registering (RSVP) online or by phone to ensure your seats!

Established in 2007, the Boston Public Quartet serves as the resident ensemble and directing team of the non-profit organization musicConnects. Their mission is to model and teach self-expression, peer leadership and community development through the transformative power of chamber music. They currently inspire and teach over fifty young musicians at the Chittick and Sumner Elementary Schools in Boston.
