The Parkway Pop Warner program remains unbeaten after the first three games of the season. Both the D and E teams followed opening day wins at Dedham with consecutive road wins at Randolph and Mansfield. The wins were particularly satisfying because both Parkway squads lost to Randolph and Mansfield last year.

The D team fumbled the opening snap at Randolph, and the athletic Blue Devils exploited the turnover for a quick score to lead 7-0. Parkway then took over the game. Behind strong line play from Pat Creavin and Luke Bortolotto and aggressive lead blocking by the Falcon backs, Cam Kewley and Tobi Ojo each scored twice and Matt Susich scored once as the Falcons scored 32 unanswered points. Linebackers James Lomuscio and Jimmy Sullivan attacked the Blue Devils’ backs throughout the game, and the Falcons won 32-7.

On Sunday, September 16, the Parkway Falcons took on the hitherto undefeated Mansfield D team at Mansfield and won 18-16. Kristian Rosario recovered a critical second half Hornets fumble, and cornerbacks Ibrahim Muhammad, Cam Nahim, and Nathan Fitzgerald thwarted the Hornets’ passing attack on the final drive to preserve the win.

The E team also remained perfect with consecutive wins at Randolph and Mansfield. Quarterback James Gillespie paced the offense, as backs Kevin Prendergast, Julian Llopiz, Connor Kewley and Donovan Edwards gashed the Randolph and Mansfield defenses. Kewley scored twice against Mansfield, and the young Falcons defeated the Hornets 19-6.

Both Parkway teams will look to remain unbeaten when they play their home openers against the Sharon Eagles on Sunday at the West Roxbury Education Complex.
