A homicide investigation is underway at Academy Terrace in the Jackson Square area of Boston after three people were shot and injured Monday, police officials say.The shooting took place at 92 Academy Terrace off of Columbus Avenue just before 1 p.m.

Police say a gunman opened fire on three people who were sitting in a car. Two of the three individuals suffered life-threatening injuries. A Hispanic man, who was wearing cargo pants and a white tank top, has been identified as a suspect in this case.
