Walking Meditation: Steps to Peace and Harmony

  • Where: Larz Anderson Park, 23 Newton Street, Brookline
  • What: Based on the silent walking meditations of Thich Naht Hanh, esteemed Zen Master, you will learn breathing and meditation techniques.

Free Health Fair

  • When: Sunday, June 28, 10:00 a.m.
  • Where: Sheraton Needham Hotel, 100 Cabot Street, Needham
  • What: Presentations on digestive health, heart health and orthopedics, blood pressure and vaccine education, healthy food samples. There will also be opportunity to get BMI readings, vision screening and dental screening.

Walk, Run & Roll Auction with the Noah’s Ark Foundation

  • Sunday, June 28, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Skyline Park, 815 Newton Street, Brookline
  • $30 for adults, $10 for children
  • Proceeds will go towards improving the lives of severely disabled adults in Massachusetts.
