West Roxbury Academy Students Win MWRA Video Contest
City of Boston Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space Attends Awards Ceremony

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is pleased to announce that six West Roxbury Academy students have won MWRA’s annual video contest.
Douenie Edouard, Alia Ortiz, Marie Tunis and Amanda O’Toole won Second Place in the video contest for their video, “Neither Snow Nor Rain.”
Kaitlyn Welch and Leanne Allen won Third Place for their video “Snow Days.”

This year, students across the MWRA service area were challenged to create videos about how MWRA workers do their jobs in all kinds of weather. An awards ceremony was held on Friday, May 26 at the Deer Island Treatment Plant. City of Boston Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space and MWRA Board Member Austin Blackmon attended the ceremony and congratulated the winners.
