West Roxbury Girl Scouts Raise Some Cookie Dough for Their Troops
Several West Roxbury Girl Scouts sold more than 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is proud to announce that West Roxbury Girl Scouts Dillon Tedesco sold 540 boxes and Grace Zaborski sold 554 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this year.

The Girl Scout Cookie program allows girls to set goals, learn money management, and develop marketing skills. The activity of selling cookies is directly related to the organization’s purpose of helping all Girl Scouts realize their full potential and become strong, confident and resourceful citizens.

Girl Scout troops use funds from the cookie activity to fund a service project or to plan for an exciting trip. With the proceeds earned from selling cookies, the girls will take small trips with their troops and attend Girl Scout camp this summer.
