West Roxbury Resident One of Best 300 College Professors by Princeton Review

Arnie Arluke is a professor of sociology and anthropology at Northeastern University.

 

West Roxbury resident Arnie Arluke, was named one of the 300 best professors in the country by the Princeton Review."

“I want to get students to think about and apply sociology to their lives and the world around them,” says Arnie Arluke, who teaches sociology and anthropology at Northeastern University. “By the end of the class, I want all students to take with them not only a solid grounding in sociological thinking and method, which they get, but also some of my own excitement about seeing our social world from a new, and at times critical, perspective.” 

For the book, Princeton Review teamed up with RateMyProfessors.com to create a comprehensive guidebook to America's top undergraduate professors.

"The Best 300 Professors" profiles outstanding professors at 122 colleges, who all earned high praise from the undergrad students they teach in fields that range from Ancient Studies to Neuroscience to Sport Management, according to a press release.
