Whiz Kid: Peter Wang
Wang earned second place at South Shore Conservatory's Concerto Solo Piano Competition.
Name: Peter Wang
Age: 11
Key to Awesomeness: Said his piano instructor of six years, Eugene Kaminsky, "I have not met yet any reluctance form him toward certain style or composer, however there are certainly styles that will not be accessible to an 11-year-old. I introduced him practically to all major composers from Bach to Debussy, thus we played Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Tchaikovsky. I guess we still have to make plenty of discoveries, like Schubert, Brahms, Ravel, et cetera."
