ZBA Approves Boston's First Medical Pot Dispensary
The city's first dispensary would be located on 21 Milk Street.

Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeal approved a conditional permit for Patriot Care to open up the city’s first medical marijuana dispensary, UniversalHub.com reports.
Board members passed a unanimous vote in favor of the dispensary, which would be located on 21 Milk Street. Patriot Care would provide those with prescriptions access to medical marijuana.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and City Councilors Ayanna Presley, Matt O’Malley, Tito Jackson and Michelle Wu, were all in support of the proposed dispensary.
Those not in favor of the dispensary argued more drug users would be attracted to the Milk Street area.
