After forcing an early turnover, AWLC went right to work led by attack John Isaf with (3 goals, 2 assists) the team quickly established control.

There were some initial concerns with a number of players unavailable to play (Mike McInnis and John Mahoney) and some others on injured reserve Eric Deehan, Bill Stewart, Gordon Green and Dennis Grieco. The defense lead by Scott Lanciloti, Jim McGowan and Larry "The Squirrel" Klaff stepped up and got help from Rob Malster, John Hauck as well as rookie Chip Topjian who saw his first action. Ted Duffy, another AWLC rookie, was in the net for his first showing and played a solid game.

The team travels to Chelsea next Monday, June 2, for a 7 p.m. game against the Stale Blue Donuts. AWLC was formed in 2011 and this is a rematch of the club's first game, which they won 11-3.
