Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Assisted Living at Westwood is hosting the educational session, “The Challenges of Sundowning” on Thursday, Jan. 7 at noon. Sundowning is a dementia-related symptom that refers to increased agitation, confusion and hyperactivity that begins in the late afternoon and builds throughout the evening. This presentation will provide helpful tips on reducing the incidence of sundowning and how to best cope with it when it does occur. A light lunch will be served.
