Dedham Fire Responds to Blaze Near Westwood Line

The fire was located on Country Club Road.

DEDHAM, MA - Fire crews in Dedham are responding to their second and third blazes of the day.

At 7:21 p.m., Dedham fire responded to a report of smoke at 36 Country Club Rd. About 15 minutes later, a chimney fire was reported at Irish Ale House on Bridge Street.

After discovering a fire in the basement, the Country Club Road fire was upgraded to a two-alarm fire. The fire is feet away from the Westwood town line.

Ventilation is being done with ground ladders at 36 Country Club Rd. because crews at the scene are unable to access the house with ariel gear, according to Dedham fire.
