FBI Unearth Remains of Possible Mob Victim from Westwood
Days of digging in Providence have revealed what could be the final resting place of a South Boston nightclub owner missing since 1993.

Boston, MA - Days of digging in Rhode Island have unearthed what some believe could be the final resting place of a Boston mob victim.
The FBI's Boston office told local media outlets it has found remains in Providence, but declined to share additional details on the ongoing investigation. The remains have been sent to the Rhode Island medical examiner's office for examination.

Sources tell The Boston Globe the FBI was following a tip that South Boston nightclub owner Steven A. DiSarro was buried on the property.
DiSarro, of Westwood, went missing in 1993 at age 43. According to another gangster's account, DiSarro was strangled in the home of New England Mafia boss Francis "Cadillac Frank" Salemme, the Globe reports.
