Girls Hockey Remains Strong with 6-1 Win over N. Quincy
The girls continued a strong streak this season with a 6-1 victory on Saturday.

Kim Egizi scored two goals to lead Westwood (4-0-1) to a 6-1 win over Quincy (1-4) Saturday night at home in Canton.
Goals by Egizi and Ella Hazar put Westwood up 2-0 in the first period. Quincy scored the only goal of the second period to make it a 2-1 game after two periods.

Westwood then turned it on in the third period. Goals by Kat Heidelberger, Meghan Kelly, Egizi's second on the night and freshman Lulu Swartz made it 6-1.
Swartz scored her first varsity goal on a solo rush up the ice, beating both Quincy defensemen, then putting a shot up over the goaltender.

Westwood again piled up the shots on net, outshooting Quincy 38 to 6. Westwood's first two lines (Egizi, Hazar, Healey and Swartz, Heidelberger, Kelly) accounted for three goals.
Westwood goaltender Siobhan Burke stopped six shots to pick up the win.
Westwood's Christine Regan and Kristina Barounis picked up assists while playing stong defense. Kelly Healy picked up two assists and was a presence in the Quincy end all game.
