'Honoring Resistance and Refusals' hosted by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, "Honoring Resistance and Refusals," on Thursday, June 4 at noon.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, “Honoring Resistance and Refusals,” on Thursday, June 4 at noon at the Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood Welcome Center, 252 Providence Highway in Lambert’s Rainbow Square. Resistance and refusals are common among those with dementia, especially when it comes to care assistance. This presentation, led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, will discuss common causes and provide tips on how to both honor and reduce resistance and refusals through simple changes in approach and environments.

This event is part of Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood’s ongoing educational series on memory care. Presentations are free and open to the public but space is limited.
