Women's Network Gets Up-Close Look At New Suburban Real Estate Development

WESTWOOD, MA — The Suburban Professional Women’s Network (SPW Network) today got an inside look at University Station, a new, 2 million square foot mixed-use development including retail, restaurants, luxury apartments and a memory care facility in Westwood.

Forty professional women from real estate and other industries gathered at Bonefish Grill University Station to hear from Paul Cincotta, a Vice President at New England Development, the lead developer of University Station. The group went on a walking tour of the complex that presently houses retailers such as Target, Marshalls/HomeGoods, Nordstrom Rack and more. The eateries at University Station include Massachusetts’ first Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the second Bonefish Grill and Smashburger, among others.

The event was sponsored by Riemer & Braunstein LLP, a Boston- and Burlington-based law firm that has served the Route 128 real estate and business community for over 40 years.

“We were delighted to host the Suburban Professional Women’s Network here at University Station,” commented Paul Cincotta. He added, “Together with our partners Eastern Real Estate and National Development, as well as the Town of Westwood, we’ve worked hard to revitalize an old industrial site and transform it into a vibrant new destination featuring an exciting mix of shops and restaurants, a premier fitness center, luxury apartments and memory care assisted living.”

Opening this summer are Gables University Station offering luxury apartment living and the first Life Time Athletics in New England. Wegmans Food Markets will open in October and future plans include hotel and office space, and additional retailers and restaurants inside its 120 acres. University Station’s location along Route 128 is adjacent to the Route 128 MBTA Commuter Rail station.
