Kiersten Khoury of Westwood Is Named Miss Massachusetts Jr. Teen United States 2015

Last fall, when Westwood 7th grader won the 2014 International Junior Miss New England Pre-Teen title, her mom, Dr. Dawn Khoury, said, “To have the confidence to go on stage in front of hundreds of people and present yourself with confidence -- as well as having an interview before professional judges -- are skills that will benefit Kiersten no matter what she does in life. Much of this starts with a beautiful, confident smile.”

Now, Kiersten’s confidence and poise have come through again as she recently earned the title of Miss Massachusetts Jr. Teen United States. Kiersten and her mom attribute some credit for her great smile to her Orthodontist, Dr. Andrew Chase at ARCH Orthodontics’ Westwood office. Last year, she was selected as ARCH’s Patient of the Quarter.

Dr. Andrew Chase has worked with thousands of patients of all ages, from 4 to 84, and knows that people gain self-confidence when their teeth are properly aligned: “We strongly believe that a beautiful smile can make a difference in your life – psychologically, socially, professionally, and from a health standpoint.”

Kiersten, an honor student at Thurston Middle School, hopes to become a Chiropractor just like her parents Drs. Wassim and Dawn Khoury who own the Khoury Center for Chiropractic and Wellness in Dedham. She volunteers for various charities and participates in public appearances and charity functions. She plays the flute, dances at The Dance Center of Dedham on their junior competitive team, participates in Girl Scouts, and is a student council representative at Thurston.
