Life Time Athletic Westwood to be Led by Life Time Veteran and Massachusetts Local Michael Diateveli

Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company announced health and fitness industry veteran Michael Diatelevi as General Manager of the company’s first sports, professional fitness, family recreation and spa destination in the Boston area. Life Time Athletic Westwood at University Station is currently under construction at 44 Harvard Street in Westwood, MA with a planned opening in summer 2015.

As General Manager of the new location, Diatelevi will direct a staff of nearly 300 health and lifestyle professionals to deliver the full suite of Life Time services when the center opens.

Diatelevi has been with Life Time for 10 years serving in the Personal Training Division in Minnesota. Prior to Life Time, Diatelevi worked with student athletes at the University of Minnesota and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College and then continued his education at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received his master’s degree in Exercise Science. Michael is returning to Massachusetts to introduce Life Time to New England. He resides with his wife Angie and their two girls: Mia and Leighton in the Westwood area. His extended family also hails from the area where his father taught High School in Framingham and coached football for many years in Framingham and Westwood.

Life Time Athletic Westwood will offer members a host of amenities, including indoor and outdoor aquatics centers with zero-depth entry pools; a lap pool; 5 dedicated group exercise, cycle, Pilates and LifePower Yoga studios; 400 pieces of best-in-class cardiovascular and resistance training equipment; two full-size indoor basketball courts; Life Time Kids Academy for kids from three months to 11 years, and LifeSpa, offering full-service hair, nail and skin care services and therapeutic massage.

The Life Time Athletic Preview Center will be open seven days a week; from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdayand 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
