MEMORY CAFE: A Social Gathering Offered to Residents with Memory Loss

Join us for an informal coffee break for those within early stages of memory loss to connect and socialize.

White Oak Cottages is pleased to inform that we will be launching a “Dementia-Friendly Community” initiative in our hometown of Westwood that provides resources for families facing memory loss as well as local community training to help those with dementia live safely and fully in their community for as long as possible.

The first goal of this initiative is launching a Memory Café, which will be Thursday, September 30th from 2-3:30pm at the Westwood Public Library.

Join us for an informal coffee break connecting those within early stages of memory loss and their caregivers for conversation, activities, snacks and refreshments. This event is free of charge. We ask those to have caregivers present if they need personal assistance.

For added information on this initiative or the Memory Cafe please email Janis Taylor at jtaylor@whiteoakcottages.com.

We hope to see you there!
