MIAA Basketball Tournament: Dedham Earns Tourney Spots

DEDHAM, MA - The Dedham Marauders are set to make a run at the basketball state title as the 2016 MIAA Division3 South pairings have just been announced.

Finishing the regular season with a record of 11-11, the boys’ will travel to No. 3 Bishop Stang for a first-round match on March 3 at 6:30 p.m. The winner will face either No. 6 Norwell or No. 11 Hanover in the quarterfinals.

On the girls’ side, the 15th-ranked Marauders will play at No. 2 Rockland on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. The winner of No. 7 Archbishop Williams vs. No 10. Bourne will be waiting in the quarterfinal round.

The winner of the Division 3 South tournament will play the winner of the North bracket for a shot at the state championship.
