Welcome to the Photo of the Day! Today's feature actually includes three photos taken from last Thursday's Science Showcase at in Westwood. The event, which took place on Feb. 9, featured 61 projects from second through fifth graders. All of the students/scientists discussed their project with a "science advisor" who presented each with a certificate. Attendees had the chance to view the projects, participate in a scavenger hunt and guess the grams of sugar in a huge jar of gummi bears.  Many, though not all, of the photos from this series will come straight from our , to which you can upload your own photos of events, celebrations and scenes from inside the Westwood borders.  Be sure to check back each day, Monday through Friday, for a new photo and if you've got photos you'd like to submit, send them our way and we'll be sure to feature them!  Also be sure to check out the  and upload photos at any time!
