Resident urges Westwood Voters to approve new Police Headquarters
Town Meeting will be held on May 2nd at the High School and will give residents the chance to approve the funds to build a new Police HQ.

By Pam Kane, Town of Westwood Resident
I have been a long time resident of Westwood and have always appreciated the hard work of our town administration and employees. One of the things I like most about Westwood is the strong sense of community.
I believe the Public Facilities Task Force has done a good job communicating the need for a new Police Headquarters. The process has been open and given all residents a chance to be educated and have their voice heard during the planning stages. Attending some of these meetings and speaking with people on the task force has impressed upon me the need for the new headquarters. It not only addresses our needs now, but for the future.

On May 2nd, I will be at Town Meeting to support moving forward and approve the funds to build the designed facility. It is a good decision for the town and shows our support for all of the officers who work hard to make Westwood a safe community. I urge all residents to do the same.
