Shannon: A Brindle Pit Bull Mix

Shannon is a 1-year-old brindle Pit Bull mix. She is very sweet and well-behaved. She loves to play, run around outside, and go for long walks/hikes.

Car rides are another of her favorite activities, and she can get a little over excited and be jumpy and mouthy when playing. Shannon loves dogs and participates in playgroups here at the shelter.

She would not do well in a home with cats due to her playfulness and may mistake the cat as a fun toy. We also suggest older children because of her excitable behavior.

Shannon seems to be house broken, but will need a refresher when arriving home. All her vaccines are up to date and she has been started on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She is also spayed and will be micro chipped before going home.
