Westwood Author Lynne Viti to Read at Islington Branch, Tuesday Jan.17

Westwood resident Lynne Viti will read selections from her new poetry collection, Baltimore Girls (Finishing Line Press) at the Islington Branch of the Westwood Public Library, 80 Washington St, Westwood, on Tuesday, January 17, 10:30 AM. The event is free and open to the public.

Viti, a senior lecturer in the Writing Program at Wellesley College, was born and raised in Baltimore, the focus of this collection. She has published poetry and fiction in over two dozen online and print journals, most recently, The Little Patuxent Review, Pen in Hand, the journal of the Maryland Writers Association, The South Florida Poetry Journal, and in a curated exhibit at Boston City Hall.
