Westwood Cartridge World celebrates five-year anniversary

For the past five years, Westwood Cartridge World has been saving customers more than just money on ink and toner.

The store, located at 240 Providence Highway, Unit 14, has been locally owned and operated since July 2008. Nilesh Ganatra, a former design engineer at Texas Instruments, opened Westwood Cartridge World after seeing many jobs in his field going overseas.

The store, which sells eco-friendly ink and toner printer cartridges, serves Norwood, Dedham, Canton, Needham, Walpole, Medway, Waltham, West Roxbury, Boston, Braintree and Quincy areas. The business and its staff are part of many community and civic organizations and support local charities.

“We’re lucky to be a part of the Westwood area community and are grateful for the support our customers have given us since we opened,” Ganatra said. “We plan to continue offering a high level of service for many years to come.”

Cartridge World offers several advantages over competitors, he said. Not only can customers save as much as 35 percent over new cartridge prices, but the eco-friendly ink and toner cartridges help to limit impacts on the environment by keeping empty cartridges out of landfills. The cartridges, which offer the same high-quality performance as new cartridges, also are backed by a 100-percent guarantee.

“When you look at all the benefits combined, buying from Cartridge World makes sense,” Ganatra said. “It’s those benefits, combined with the hard work of our dedicated staff of home and office printing pros, that have helped us reach this important milestone.”

Westwood Cartridge World offers customers expert printer advice and emergency troubleshooting, Ganatra said. Plus, business delivery is free.

In the winter, the store hopes to begin selling computer parts and hardware, and will offer certain computer repair services. Ganatra said customers who need assistance when purchasing a printer are welcome to stop by the store for the expert advice on the purchase.

All local residents also are welcome to participate in Cartridge World’s recycling program, he added. Simply drop off used ink and toner cartridges during business hours rather than throwing them away.

Westwood Cartridge World is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 781-329-6001.
