Westwood Del Frisco's Names General Manager, Executive Chef

WESTWOOD, MA – Del Frisco's Restaurant Group has named Elissa Pablo general manager and Jeremy Smith executive chef of its incoming Westwood steakhouse. The chain will open its third Massachusetts location at University Station in March and recently announced plans to make 95 new hires.

Pablo, a Salem resident, has worked for Del Frisco's Restaurant Group for over 11 years, starting as a server at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in Manhattan and advancing to Sommelier before being promoted to bar manager at Del Frisco's in Boston's Seaport district.

"My biggest value to the brand is my knowledge of our culture," Pablo said in a statement. "Creating a team from the ground up and building a relationship with the community from day one is very special. I am looking forward to introducing Westwood to Del Frisco’s Grille, spearheading local fundraising initiatives and forming connections that will last for years to come."

Smith, an Attleboro native, brings nearly three decades of culinary experience to Del Frisco's, most recently serving as executive chef of Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Foxborough.

"I’m looking forward to sharing my experience with the new team at Del Frisco’s Grille, creating a fun, hard-working environment which delivers top quality food, drinks and service," Smith said in a release. "Not everyone gets to do a job they love every day; I now see why so many of our team members have stayed and grown with this company."

Del Frisco’s Grille is now hiring hourly candidates for the following positions: host, hostesses, servers, bartenders, food runners, busers, dish machine operators, broilers, line and prep cooks.
