Westwood Employees, Students, and Residents Show Bruin Pride
Locals talk about their "excitement" over the Big Bruins Win.
Town employees and residents of Westwood talked about their excitement surrounding this year's Boston Bruins team, who won the Stanley Cup in Game 7, 4-0, to the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.
Some in town reminisced about the Bruins of 1972 with Bobby Orr and Derek Sanderson, while others prepared for the big parade this Saturday morning starting at the TD Garden at 11 a.m. For complete parade information, .
Westwood High School's girls varsity ice hockey coach Rick Chrusciel, for one, said he was beyond thrilled to see the B's take home the Stanley Cup.

"It was a great seven-game series," he said. "One of the toughest, hardest hitting series I have ever seen. It shows that a team with grit, spirit and hard work can overcome a pretty bit talent difference.
Adding to that, Chrusciel said he feels that the big win could be a big plus for hockey in Westwood moving forward.

"This is a great result for hockey in our area," he said. "I hope we can see more youth getting involved in the game as a result of all the excitement caused by the Bruins."
