Westwood High School Listed Among Top 20 High Schools in Massachusetts
The school topped U.S. News and World Report's 2017 Best High School list.

WESTWOOD, MA — Westwood High School received a gold medal for being one the best high schools in Massachusetts, according to the U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best High Schools report.
Westwood placed 19th in the state and 431st nationally. Boston Latin School was named the top high school in Massachusetts.
The ranking was good enough to earn a gold medal, which is given to the top 500 schools based on their highest college readiness scores.

These are Westwood's vital stats, according to the survey:
- 13:1 student-teacher ratio
- 58.7 college readiness score
- 62 percent participate in AP exams
- 94 percent pass AP exams
- 96 percent proficiency in math
- 99 percent proficiency in English
- 97 percent graduation rate
