"We had a great start and even went ahead in the first two minutes with a goal from Tom Ollerhead," said Head Coach Jon Grant. "The play started from one side of the field making many combination passes forward and over until Olek Lis crossed the ball across the goal to a streaking Ollerhead, who finished it beautifully."
He added, "We had moments of brilliance, but consistency seems to be our issue right now. Hopkinton was able to take advantage of this in the 30th minute by playing a ball over the heads of our defenders to Jack Hilger, who went in alone and scored on the breakaway."

It was nearly halftime when Hopkinton was able to capitalize on a short corner kick scored by Tim Bolick to take a 2-1 lead into the half.
Despite a few strong moments, Westwood was unable to score against Hopkinton goalie Greg Rodeck in the second half, Grant said.
Hopkinton took advantage of the team's lack of consistency and was able to score another goal.
