Xaverian Brothers Scoreboard: March 5

Scoreboard; March 4, 2011:

Basketball (Division 1 Playoffs):

Loss to Taunton High School in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs 62-60.  The team's final record was 10-11.

Hockey (Division 1 Playoffs):
 
Loss to Braintree High School in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs 1-0. Their final record was 10-9-2.
 
Wrestling (Division 1 State Tournament):

Senior Anthony Agnitti finished 5th in his weight class at the Division I state wrestling tournament and 3rd in the All State tournament held over the break.  Agnitti will also be competing in the New England Tournament this weekend.

Indoor Track (Division 1 State Championship):

• Senior Nick McDaniels finished 7th in the 55 meter hurdles
• Sophomore Kyle Darrow finished 7th in the long jump
• Senior James Richardson finished 5th in the 600 meter

All three athletes qualified for the All State meet.
 
Alpine Skiing (Division 1 State Meet Competitors)

• Ian Pratt
• Andrew Psilakis
• Hunter Benharris
• Lucus Capachin

Swimming:

• Senior Matt DePalo finished 4th in the 1-meter dive
• Senior John Holmes finished 8th in the 50-yard free style and 10th in the 100-yard free style.

Spring sports start the week of March 20.
