Brothers Indicted in Weymouth Home Invasion Case
Police say they needed a SWAT team to arrest Alfredo A. Galarza, 25, and Samuel J. Galarza, 27.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Two brothers charged in a Weymouth home invasion case have been indicted by a Norfolk County grand jury.
Alfredo A. Galarza, 25, and Samuel J. Galarza, 27, were arrested Dec. 12 and charged with home invasion, carrying a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery and unlawful possession of ammunition, according to the Weymouth Police Department. They were indicted last week according to the Patriot Ledger and their case now moves from Quincy District Court to Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.
At about 9:00 p.m. Dec. 11, officers responded to 93 Audubon Rd. for a report of a home invasion. The victim, a 31-year-old man, told police that two men kicked in his door and pistol-whipped him. The victim was transported to South Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim told police he knew who the men were and was able to identify them. Officers located the two suspects at an apartment at 79 Donald St. Upon arrival, the suspects refused to open the door. After a search warrant was obtained for the apartment by investigating officer and a Metro-LEC SWAT team responded to the scene, both suspects exited the apartment and surrendered to police.
A superior court arraignment has not been scheduled.
