Hammond Residential in Hingham to Host Local Artists' Show
Artists to exhibit at Hammond's 98 South Street Hingham office location
HINGHAM, Mass. (March 4, 2016) – Jeff Forsythe, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Hingham office located at 98 South Street, is pleased to announce that the office will exhibit works by members of Hull Artists through October 23, 2016. An opening reception in connection with this exhibit will he held on Sunday, April 17 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Several of the artists will be present to discuss their works and all display works are also offered for purchase.
A fixture on Boston’s South Shore art scene, Hull Artists’ celebrated its 20th year of inviting the public to its Open Studio tours in 2015. Over 65 member artists from Hull and surrounding towns are established, award-winning professionals working in such media as watercolors, mixed media, oils, pastels, photography, mosaic, stained glass, acrylic, woodcrafts, pottery, textiles, and handcrafted jewelry. The organization’s gallery space, Gallery Nantasket, is located at 121 Nantasket Avenue in Hull.
Throughout its twenty-five year history, Hammond Residential Real Estate has made the visual and performing arts the primary focus of its corporate philanthropy. “We believe in giving back to the communities that we serve through free events focused on the many local artists who make our community an exciting and vibrant place to live,” stated Jeff Forsythe. “We are pleased to partner with the Hull Artists organization, which has been an esteemed community resource for twenty years. In addition to our fine arts exhibits, we also sponsor a series of free chamber music concerts that highlight the talents of emerging performers,” he said.
