Man Behind Video that Led to Weymouth Stabbing Speaks

Australian comedian Jimbo Bazoobi recently spoke about a video that allegedly led to a stabbing in Weymouth.

WEYMOUTH, MA - When Australian comedian Jimbo Bazoobi found out that his video about a goat named Kevin allegedly provoked a stabbing, he thought it was a joke.

Last week, a Weymouth man was arrested and charged with stabbing a man after seeing the video. According to court documents a woman shared the video on her Facebook page, When 28-year-old Kevin Sullivan saw the video, he allegedly believed it was a slight against him.

That slight led to a confrontation between Sullivan and the woman's boyfriend. The boyfriend was allegedly stabbed by Sullivan.

Bazoobi told the Patriot Ledger that the incident was unexpected and he didn't like the idea that someone was hurt over the video.

Sullivan is due back in Quincy District Court on July 22.
