A 57-year-old Weymouth man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly threatening a Braintree man outside the 7-Eleven in Weymouth Landing.
Officers located and charged Brian D. Gerbeville with assault with a dangerous weapon after the Braintree man called police from inside the store, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
Gerbeville asked the Braintree man for money and after exchanging words with him and going inside, the victim told police he saw Gerbeville standing outside with a knife and motioning for him to come outside.
